Privacy Policy

Cognitive AI Index (“we”, “us”) operates this site and the iOS app of the same name. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and how to delete it.

What we collect

Your email address (for your Mind Map profile). The answers you submit to any module. Your derived scores. Your Coach conversations. Your daily challenge entries. Anonymous aggregated cohort statistics. We do not collect government ID, financial data (Stripe handles that), location, contacts, or device IDs beyond standard analytics.

Why we collect it

To deliver the product: render your Mind Map, generate your reports, give your Coach memory across sessions, and rank you on the leaderboard. We don’t sell user data. We don’t share it with advertisers. We don’t train external AI models on your data without explicit consent.

Who sees it

Internal team only. Plus the providers that power the product: Stripe (payments), Anthropic via Emergent’s LLM gateway (Coach + report generation — your data is sent server-side at request time and not retained for training under our agreements), and Vercel (hosting). All transmissions use TLS.

Your rights

Email us to request a copy of all your data, delete your account permanently, or correct anything stored about you. Deletion is irreversible and processed within 7 days.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small first-party cookie to keep you signed in and remember your theme preference. No third-party tracking pixels.

Children

This product is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
